 Celadon Jar with Six Handles and Underglaze Relief Decoration

Produced in the Northern Qi Dynasty (550-577), this jar, 28 cm high and 18 cm in diameter, was unearthed from Li Yun’s tomb, dating from the seventh year of the Wuping reign period of the Northern Qi Dynasty, in Puyang, Henan Province. The body of this jar is solid, exquisitely made and of close texture.
