Yue Kiln

Yue Kilns were located mostly in the ancient Yuezhou area in Zhejiang Province, their center being the Gong Kiln in the vicinity of Shanglin Lake in Cixi County. The celadon wares they produced are the best manufactured in the Tang Dynasty. They enjoy high reputation and are praised by the people as "jade-like", "ice-like" or "green like grass-coated mountains".
