A Celadon-Glazed and Underglaze Blue and Red Wall Vase


Qianlong period, Qing Dynasty
Height: 18cm

Flat back with single perforation for hanging, fronted by a vase-form of flared foot, and full belly, gracefully contracting to a slightly flared neck flanked by kui dragon handles, glazed in a faint pea green with underglazed blue and red naturalistic floral groping standing along on the mid-section, leaves and stems in deep blue, petals in dark red, base with Qianlong mark in blue seal script.
