A Large Square Blue and White "Qunxian Zhushou" Flowerpot

Massive and low form rests on four high archaic scroll feet, with a broad and square belly that gently spreads to a compact middle zone and angles back to a short, straight neck and a long, outwardly flared mouth capped by an inverted flat running panel lip, inner walls supported with two ribs to each face, center perforated by central circular opening, belly walls painted with dramatic and expressive narrative scene of immortals, neck and mouth with ruyi, key and fret, and banana leaf patterns, inner lip with classic lotus scroll, all in fine blue line.
