A Pair of Doucai "Floral" Cups


Yongzheng period, Qing Dynasty
Diameter: 9.5cm

Both cups of extremely fine forms, resting on slight ring feet and arching up to broad mouths and straight lips, painted with a natural lotus pond scene, small green ground and water at foot leading to rising lotus clusters capped with red flowers along the walls, cup centers with lotus cluster on the water encircled double blue rings, base with Yongzheng mark in regular script.
