A three-tiered plum blossom-shaped lacquer box and cover

Matte red outer lacquer with lustrous black inner lining, five layers in all, each in a gently lobed plum blossom footprint, beginning with a platform suspended on five compressed ruyi head feet bordered with floral brocade background and faced on top in mountain brocade ground, upon which are stacked three interlocking boxes and a cover, all bordered in a floral suite of chrysanthemum, plum, narcissus, peony and camellia reserve panels and separated by classical lotus blossoms, top adorned with a central "shou (longevity)" character and flanked by sprigs of each flower, bordered by a lotus leaf pattern.
