Ben Haenow to release self-titled debut album

Last year's "X Factor" winner Ben Haenow is now working on a debut album, with a string of high-profile songwriters.

Struggled free from his rock roots, the 30-year-old singer elaborates on these changes.

"I think there's scope to change as an artist, I think it's a great thing to do. If you don't kind of adapt and change with it, I think you can really lose out because music's obviously changing all the time. I understand that people were expecting maybe something a little bit more rocky from me and there's plenty of time to do that in the next couple of albums."

Haenow collaborates with Kelly Clarkson in his new single 'Second Hand Heart', which is now due out in the UK.

After winning the 2014 series, Haenow scored the U.K. Christmas number one with his winning song, 'Something I Need'.

Ben Haenow's self-titled debut album is scheduled to be released on November 13th.
