TS1 Art Gallery Beijing

 TS1 Art Gallery Beijing

Last April 2007 Beijing TS1 gallery opened in the 798 art district, the core of Beijing's booming art scene. Designed in the 1950's by East Germans in the Bauhaus-style, the 798 Art District was originally an industrial zone. Now the huge converted factory spaces have become China's most important showcase for contemporary art.

The TS1 gallery boasts a 425 sq metre space with two exhibition floors, as well as one of 798 art district's largest exhibition walls of 18m width and 12m high.

Every month TS1 gallery is proud to present a selection of significant free thinking work, using every medium from painting to performance, installation to video.
