doART BEIJING is a new art gallery freshly opened in Beijing by the competent Gallery HYUNDAI of South Korea.

Gallery HYUNDAI, situated in Sagan-dong, Seoul, is a representative art gallery of South Korea. It has since its establishment in 1970 designed and sponsored art exhibitions not only for Korean artists, but also for many world-level artists with great potential. It has been participating in international art fair for many years and therefore, ranks among leading art galleries of great influence. It set up doART Gallery at Insa-dong, Seoul in 2002 with the intention to seek young and promising domestic and foreign artists and to lead the development of contemporary art.

doArt Gallery has been renamed doArt Seoul and moved to Chengdam-dong, Seoul, Sept 2007.

Gallery HYUNDAI has of late raised a great interest in Chinese art that has attracted international attention in the kingdom of les beaux arts, and does everything it can to search out and recruit outstanding Chinese artists. Gallery HYUNDAI sponsored Zeng Fanzhi personal art exhibition in Seoul in March 2007, and is now making efforts to introduce more Chinese artists to the world. Gallery HYUNDAI not only promotes art and cultural communication between South Korea and China, but also brings world fine arts and culture to China through such activities. It has, in order to spread Chinese fine arts and culture to the world, been making preparations for the opening of its Beijing art gallery, hight doART BEIJING, is scheduled to open at Caochangdi Art Village in Beijing on September 20, 2007.

doART BEIJING will implement Gallery HYUNDAI's experience and achievements and make incessant efforts for holding better art exhibitions. It aims to seek more young Chinese artists and introduce them not only to the Chinese people but also to people allover the world. It attempts to lead the cultural communication between South Korea and China and as well as make greater efforts to promote the development of Asian fine arts and culture.
